About the author

I am an educator, writer, lecturer, translator, computer programmer, and oenophile. I have written, taught, and lectured on Art History, Archeology, History, Spanish, and Wine, with more than 17 years experience as an educator and lecturer. I have an MA in Art History from Hunter College, as well as an Advanced Certification in Wine with Distinction and a Diploma in Wine, both from the WSET, London.

Thus, I call my blog “Polymath”–one who knows something about many things. Please note that I do not call my blog “Omniscient,” for that is not my claim at all. In fact, I’d rather say that I’m a Perennial Student, always learning something new, adding to my knowledge, and then wishing to share it with others. Just can’t help myself.

I have, in addition, a sister blog at http://blogwine.riversrunby.net; for those interested, please visit it too.
